When you use LinkDisguiser, we collect the following information:
- URLs you submit: The original URLs you want to shorten are stored to enable redirection.
- Click data: When someone clicks a shortened link, we record the timestamp of the click.
- Google account information: If you sign in with Google, we store your Google user ID to associate links with your account. We do not store your email address or other Google profile information.
How We Use Your Information
We use the collected information to:
- Provide the link shortening and redirection service
- Display click analytics for your links
- Associate links with your account when signed in
Data Retention
Your shortened links and associated click data are retained indefinitely unless you request deletion. Anonymous links (created without signing in) cannot be deleted as there is no way to verify ownership.
Third-Party Services
We use the following third-party services:
- Google Sign-In: For authentication. Google's privacy policy applies to their authentication service.
- Microsoft Azure: For hosting and data storage. Data is stored in Azure data centers.
Cookies
We use localStorage (similar to cookies) to maintain your sign-in session. No tracking cookies are used.
Your Rights
You have the right to:
- Access your data by signing in and viewing your links
- Request deletion of your account and associated data
